Location: Alumni green, between buildings 1 and 4
Occasion: 'Back to the green'
Scene:
Green green grass. Sunlight over the right half, shadowed on the left (due to the buildings). People, seated and standing in small groups on the grass. Tables laid out with the last of the free food behind. There is a band set up on a stage in the top left corner, with 4 or 6 pairs of speakers arranged on either side of them, V-like.
Background:
Murmurings of conversation, not really audible over the band. Spanish voices, with something alike latino beat. Harpist who doubles on the maraccas, two bongo drummers, one guitarist, one cello-like instrument, played upright and electric with no bow, and one trumpeter.
Subjects:
Two ravishing young women, dancing - bellydancing? - with abandon in the sunlight.
One - slightly tanned, short brown hair, in a loose red tied top, red stockings, short dark skirt, black shoes.
Two - pale, long dark brown wavy locks, in a khaki top, short short black pants, black stockings, ankle decoration, barefoot.
...hmmm. I will recall the rest later...
